5 Things You Must Know About Computer Information Technology
It is strange how sometimes you cannot see what is right in front of your eyes. I have been a passionate computer user for years, but up until recently, I never even considered getting computer jobs. I know all about commuter information technology, and I have friends who are computer network administrators who come to me for advice. Nevertheless, I have no formal background in computer information technologies. I have not actually taken more than a few classes in it.
You see, I was brought up around computers, and computers were my life in middle school and high school. I was never particularly socially adapt, but I was great at programming. I never thought about it as computer information technology, and I didn't do it because I wanted a job. Although I did have some spare time work providing computer help to various people, It was was mostly a hobby.
When I went to college, I Only took computer science classes for fun. I did not take a single computer networking class, and only looked at things that I didn't already know. You see, getting a computer information technology degree seemed like a hassle to me. Half of the stuff I would have to learn was stuff that I already knew. Who wants to have to take courses all over again, when you have been programming since you were about eight years old?
Now that I am out of school, however, I wish that I had been more practical when it was easier. If I had taken a few computer information technology classes, I could have gotten an IT degree with very little difficulty. With a computer information technology degree, I would be quite employable. Although the computer jobs market is not quite what it once was, there are still many high-paying computer careers out there. A computer job salary is quite competitive, and even with all of the people going into high-tech fields, the knowledge is still considered quite specialized.
Fortunately, it is not hard to get a little bit of computer information technologies training. I have thought about getting an Associates degree in it, and I'm going back to take the classes that I need. The few computer information technology credits that I have should transfer, so it shouldn't be too hard to do. I can't wait to actually have a good job. I am quite sick of the one that I have!
