Get Rid Of Mouse Problem
Cooler weather is rapidly approaching and my backyard is full of leaves. I was raking those layers of colorful leaves two weeks ago, when a brown mouse appeared out of nowhere. He stopped to gawk at me for a few moments and then scurried underneath my deck. I smiled, not thinking anything of where he had just disappeared to. Looking back on the situation, I realize that he may have stopped to stare at me out of some sort of joke or mockery. I had no idea that the little brown mouse had found a way into my home and was inviting his friends and family to join the festivities.
Two nights after that, my husband and I were sitting in our lower level family room, when our cat suddenly woke up and dove underneath the couch. As she did this, a mouse dashed out the other side. This led to a high speed chase around the living room, with the mouse definitely in the lead. He vanished into the closet. Our cat went berserk. And so, that chase had begun our mouse problem. As we investigated the closet with hopes of finding the little creature and helping him to return to the outdoors, we discovered evidence of mouse problem that was evident of more than one little mouse. There were enough of fresh droppings to signify an entire family. Holes had been chewed into some of the boxes that were stored in the closet. I was not a very happy camper when this was discovered. My husband started to check through the boxes and two mice jumped out at him during his search. He managed to capture one of them while the other one disappeared out from the closet. My cat went crazy again. He was fairly happy
about this new mouse problem that we seemed to have. It was a game for him. So far, we'd witnessed three different mice. We were less than thrilled. My husband went to the local hardware store and returned home with five different traps that he hoped would put an end to our mouse problem.
